evildoom_bunny went to the Cornish Arms in Brusnvick for some Comedy. My man Justin "Bedroom Philosopher" Haezlwood was there doing the Renegades of Folk thing. Then Celia Pacquola, who was a finalist in the Raw Comedy recently. She was pretty damn good! And Dave Callan, who is a funny funny man. His Yoda material in particular :-)
This was the first night they've had comedy at the Cornish - new owners, apparently. And it seemed like every comedian in Melbourne was there! We saw Rachael Berger, Corinne Grant, and a couple of other faces that I recongised but can't put a name too. I talked to my Man (er, ish) Janet McLeod and said "Every comedian in Melbourne is here, except Rod Quantock!". Janet said "He was going to be here, but he's out of town!"
It's a regular night, and my man number three Eddie Perfect is playing this week. Only $10, come along.
