Nerdy Stuff What I Have Done
Dec. 30th, 2006 02:05 pmA few months ago, I picked up a tiny (10 inch) monitor, which has more or less sitting around collection dust. My flat is far too small to waste space like that, so I've put it to use.
It's now on my desk plugged into my MP3 and Server computer. I had to turn the resolution waaaay down (something like 800x600) before it would even display, but now I can see which MP3 is actually playing (TISMs "Won't Get Fooled Again, Again", so it hasn't improved my taste :-) without having to flick over to one of the other machines I have plugged into my "Main" monitor.
Hmmmmmm... Nerdy.

stillbeing. Don't expect to see her online much for the next few weeks till she tires of Age of Empires :-)
And the ancient 19" monitor I acquired from work forevildoom_bunny is far too flickery to really use. So now it's sitting on the floor where the 10" one was... Hmmmm, not sure I'm coming out ahead here!

Friggin' Chr*stm*s. I'm soooooo broke it ain't funny. Still, said shopping festival ain't entirely to blame - I blew a shit load of my last paypacked on Weird Al and Tomfoolery tickets. Not to mention the five CDs, the books and the enormous pile of Kitten stuff. A 1.1 Kilo kitten sure needs a whole lot of toys, beds, cat food, kitty litter, kitty litter trays etc. etc.
Oh yes, fundingevildoom_bunny's emergency trip to the dentist didn't help! Poor baby, read all about her tooth coming apart!
The fun part: I don't get paid again till next year, January 15th in fact. Yay. I have all of next week off... Which I will spend on the couch. Still, made a couple of huge curries last night which should keep us in food for a few days :-)
And in fact, I'm owed something in the region of $850 by various people... Broke people *slaps head*
