More Stuff What Happened

Other events at the Party on Saturday, which I forgot to mention.

Early in the evening, a couple of people came wandering in, looking like they were trying to spot someone. evildoom_bunny and ok_i_give_in said hello to them, but they weren't friends of mine! They were looking for a different party for someone called Kes.

Later in the evening, a bunch of nerds walked in - these weren't any of my nerds, I should point out! The first four of them, all men, included one guy in a long black shiny jacket and another with a long blonde pony tail. My little brother elbowed me and said "Look, nerds!" and I said "Yeah, I spotted them. They look like they walked away from a role playing game to be here."

Fuji The (Not So) Wonder Car

I think Fuji the Wonder car (that being my Subaru station wagon) also known as the stickers with a car attached, is showing signs of needing a new clutch. Still, I should say, he's been in need of one for about two and a half years now... Clutches aren't cheap ($800), not to mention the other bits he needs. Front wheel bearings, for example.

So... Don't let Fuji hear me saying this... Maybe it's time I thought about getting a (newer) car. Trouble is I have no spare doe at the moment, aside from a piss poor amount I have in my savings account. I'd have to borrow some cash. I wonder if my mom would give me a good rate? :-)

Anyway, what do you all recon? Fuji will be 18 years old early next year, I'm not sure throwing more money at him is a good idea... Still, new(er) cars aren't cheap... *sigh*
