Oh, and as jedi_amara points out, I should have said "Guess whom I saw on Friday night", but that just sounds wrong! :-P

There are in fact photos of my band on my LJ, except that you can't see them because I haven't met you IRL. :)

My Wikipedia userpage only appears detailed because of all the userboxes. Some of which are broken when I stick them in Babel.

I briefly glanced at the pictures on your myspace, figured yours must be the blurred one. The rest of your band look like naughty school boys ;-)

And... If I said to anyone "I'm going to meet a 17 year old university student I met online" they would accuse me of ALL SORTS OF THINGS!!!! Especially evildoom_bunny. So the chances of that happening are slim indeed :-P

I am indeed the blurred one; my parents won't let me put photos of myself online publicly, and since I'm underage I still have to mind them. As for the rest of the band, one is a naughty schoolboy, one is a naughty first-year and one is a naughty not-currently-studying. The unblurred photos are under a custom filter in my LJ; the filter contains those people whom I have met IRL or who know my RL friends IRL, as well as a number of online friends whom I've known for quite a while.

You and evildoom_bunny are welcome to come along to any meet I advertise on my LJ (for example, the movie or gaming ones), but I'm not sure how much fun a 35-year-old would have hanging around with a bunch of teenagers and just-out-of-teens-agers. >D

You're entirely correct - I would drag evildoom_bunny along to meet you and your cronies one day, but I suspect we'd run out of conversation preeeeetty quickly. Well, maybe not you and I. But your friends might wonder who is this balding guy what got no gameboy ;-)

Let me know if your band ever has a gig, that'd be more workable. I look quite at home at a pub with a band :-)

My cronies are... intriguing. You'd probably find some of them rather interesting. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, though. (Many of them don't have a Game Boy or DS either, so that's not really a sticking point. XD)

I'm not entirely sure what's happening with our band. We don't do anything during uni semester since I'm not allowed out weekends and our bassist has school during the week; it's currently mid-semester break, but nothing is going on because aforementioned bassist and our drummer are both extremely stubborn and had a fight last week, which means it'll probably be about six months before they start talking to each other again. Which is a pity, because we've been asked to get involved with some Harry Potter events, and the book launch is in just months. I'm going to try to get together with frontman and drummer next week to do some writing, at least; perhaps we can use a fill-in bassist while we wait for things to clear over.
