Weird things.

A really tubby guy - we're talking jowls here - in the queue in front of me at the supermarket, buying 48 Drumsticks icecreams! He had two bulk packs of two dozen of the things!
Meanwhile, at work the other day, I put out an actual fire. We had a cigarette butt bin out on the balcony, which for some stupid reason is made of plastic. It's caught on fire before, but this time, by the time I got to it, it was mostly a pool of melted acrid burning plastic. The carbon dioxide extinguisher didn't really put it out, but the dry chemical one worked a treat. However, the chemical stinks, although not as badly as the smell of burning plastic. Hmmm hmmm... I demand some kind of bravery award :-)
Ah well, at least I didn't buy William Shatner's Kidney Stone!
