Thirty five - Thirty five! - years ago today I was born.
Eep.
Did I mention I'm now
They're getting me cake later today at work. And there's a little party in a few weeks, as I may have mentioned... :-)
And, just over ten years ago... August the 28th of 1996 in fact... I started a character on Piercing Mildred, one of the original online games. The rules are fairly simple: every week they have a contest for some stupid prize, and if you don't look after your character for more than three weeks it gets deleted... So in other words, I've clicked on my character at least once every three weeks... For the last decade.
Sad.
I've never been more than a few weeks away from a net connection for all of the last decade. Longer in fact.
The Mildred site was down for a while there, otherwise I've made more of fuss a month or so back.
