I have a passport...

My family is one of contrasts.

My sister has lived overseas for the best part of a decade. She's currently in Yemen, but has also been in Afghanistan and Indonesia. And might be off to Sudan soon.

I just got my first ever passport. I've never had one before. I've received packages that are better traveled than me... And now I'm about to apply for a Dutch one! I probably have sufficient Dutch ancestors to entitle me to one. Hmmmmm... European Union Passport... Long working holiday here I come!

I'd love to go back to England and see some of the places I remember...and then travel around Europe. Unfortunately my bank account screams whenever I so much as buy a pack of loo roll so it's out of the question right now. Unless I resort to a life of crime ;)

I think I'd like to go to Sydney next year. I know I don't need a passport for it but...at least I'd get to go somewhere and I haven't seen much of Sydney (outside of coach terminals and other scary places). It'd be nice to go and explore. Hmm. I typed that as "go and explode". How odd! :P
