Old Friends

I'm sorry I have been so negligent of you this last few weeks. That my last few entries were typed after midnight while I was at The Espy. It's been a smidgen busy.
Ok, so here's some things I've been doing.

rinnywee for the first time in about ten years. The scary thing is... Neither of us have changed that much. She looked more or less the same, and apparently so do I. Probably a good thing. Although she has gained an English accent, which is weird because she's been living in France. Apparently she had to enunciate clearly to be understood by the French, which turned into an English accent. Figure that out.
And then last night I sayvedmajulia, which was a delight. We haven't seen each other in about two years - she lives in the UK. And yet... weirdly, we didn't need to catch up that much. We've been constantly in touch on Facebook, livejournal and chatting. So many of the stories I had to tell she had heard before! Who would have thought in this age of Social Networking that it might actually work as intended and actually helps us stay in touch... Apparently my blogging about my love life has been a constant source of amusement. Still, it was ace to see her in real life. Back in the day we spent a lot of time in art galleries and other worthy cultural events, and I've missed having someone to do that with...
And she was lucky enough to meet Deb :-)
