Gah. I have few heroes, let alone fiction ones. Perhaps Rutger Hauers' character Roy in Blade Runner perhaps. My favourite books are mostly non-fiction.

Who are your favorite characters in history?
Hmmm... another tough one. It's not like I sit around at home thinking about the people I admire. Charles Darwin, perhaps?

Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
Christine Nixon (seriously). Julia Gillard. My sister.

Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Ah. Stuck again. Damn.

Your favorite painter?
Anselm Kiefer, followed closely by René Magritte and Francis Bacon. Oh, and John Brack. And maybe some Pollock.

Hair

At this very moment, I'm peroxiding my hair an insane shade of blonde (again.) I had to take off my specs, so now I have to lean really close to the screen to see what I'm typing :-)

Spent the day today in a stuffy, too hot church hall in Cheltenham, at a toastmasters contest. Gah. I saw seventeen speeches. Strewth. I think I'm getting a bit over the toasties thing - I was bored to tears in the end, ended up checking facebook on my phone. I definitely want to go back to being a "normal" toastmater, rather than an area governor. Spare time? What's that?

Blonde!!!

Cool. The peroxide turned my hair a lovely shade of strawberry blonde, as usual. I was going to do it again for a shade of white blonde, but I think I like this. Haven't had it this color for years...
