I Have No Past and No Future

I have no past and no future. And no friends. I managed to erase the entire contents of my Nerdphone, this eliminating my diary, past and future, and all my phone numbers.

It was kinda freeing, in a way, I felt liberated. Almost. A clean slate on which to recreate my timetable.

(On a more mundane level, I updated the firmware on my phone without first checking that I'd saved everything off it. Despite the numerous warnings to do so. Who reads dialog boxes in installers? Just click OK. Then it turned out that my main PC here at home was struggling as well, so I've had to reinstall everything on that as well. Hmmmm... It's a kind of nerdy limbo...)

Time For A Big Prune

I've been having a really, really hard time keeping up with LJ - reading, posting etc. I can barely keep up with the people on here, let alone the stupidly busy communities. Heck, I can barely keep up with evildoom_bunny, and I live with her!

So, today, right now in fact, I'm going to do a big prune of all the groups I'm subscribed to. Don't worry, not going to delete any actual people's LJ's, but I am going to think long and hard about cat_macros. Whilst thequestionclub and damn_roommates are both going to have to go...

Truck!

Some friends of mine have just moved to Baltimore (actually, strictly speaking a town just outside of Baltimore called Springfield...) This is my friend Laura's "Car". That's their house in the background - yes, the truck is almost as wide as it is!

They're obviously planning to be there for a while... They've also taken their cat their dog and their.... horse...

Hmmm... Time to get an american visa...
