Today is K Day!

evildoom_bunny and I are a mommy and daddy... Sorta. We are the proud owners (er, parents) of two kittens! At least for the next twenty four hours - one of them is destined for my mother.

They are soooooooo cute! We put them in the kitten carrier, and they turned around and around, trying to work out a) what it was and b) if they could get out of it.

As soon as we got them home, I plucked them carefully out of the carrier, and they made a b-line for the space under my futon. evildoom_bunny tried to tempt them out with some of the dried pilchards we picked up today, without success. Now they've fallen asleep on top of each other which is sooooooo cute.

And thanks to reddragdiva for putting us onto ladystardust_xs who had they spare kittens. They're both a lot calmer and less excitable than I was expecting... So far :-)

Aw yeah. They got used to doing that with all their brothers and sisters. That's two litters of kittens (6) plus the two mummy cats. They've turned out to be a lovely bunch of kitties.

I'm going to feel really bad separating them tomorrow when I take the orange kitty away to my mother's place. BTW, she's dubbed her Amber.

Oh yeah I know what you mean. We have somebody coming to pick up Spotty #2 this afternoon. She's the littlest so it will break my heart to let her go because to my POV she's the "baby". Y'know?
