Things What I Did On Friday

maxcelcatFriday morning, I made a two and half hour telephone call to the UK. It was after midnight over there, the crazy bugger I was talking to doesn't seem to sleep! And I'm glad I'm not paying that phone bill!
Finally saw the Simpson's movie. I dragged along a group o' six people in the end. And... I'm not sure it really did that much for me... It kinda had a conventional Hollywood plot, in some senses. Family faces hardship. Family redeems itself. Whatever. The Simpsons aren't that conventional, or at least they didn't used to be. Twenty years later, I guess I can be forgiven for being nostalgic. Heck, I started watching it in 1989. Anyway, it had some redeeming sequences. The "Nude Skateboarding" section for example. Otherwise, it was just a longer version of the current Simpsons episodes... Which is not a good thing...
Anyway, I'd better skedaddle off to the market for Food.
