Yesterday, I had to write some VB (that's Visual Basic for the un-initiated) for work. I feel all... dirty.

I wrote a VB program, oh... last year? The year before? Somewhere in that timeframe. It was the simplest thing to do, since I wanted a GUI and I don't know C++.

Usually I work with real languages, like C++. VB just seems... Brain damaged :-)

Oh, of course, but VB6 was my first language. Were you using VB6 or VB.NET? I feel even more sorry for you if you had to use the latter. I'm a C person myself.

Frighteningly, my first language was Ada.

VB6, .Net is brilliant if you're using C#, but otherwise, Ewgh!

Now, back to getting this RAID working :-)

I hope it was a program, that showed a TV, and you could push the TVs buttons, to change what image it showed! That's what got me a pass for year 12 Info tech!
