Demographic Shift

Fuckidy fuck fuck.

I'm old.

Every filled out a form where you have to tick the "age group" box?

I was doing one at the gym last night (it was a "bitch about how we play Channel V all the time" music survey.)

I shifted up an age group on Wednesday! I used to tick the "25-34" box. Now I have to tick the "35-45" box! Shit! That's a big age range! I have nothing in common with people over forty! Er, except for [livejournal.com profile] ok_i_give_in... and Jean over in Adelaide. And Sean later this year. And Steve next year... Hmmm...

Fuck I'm old.

Blogin' the Blog

Hey Folks,

I've started updating my "blog" over at www.maxcelcat.com a bit more frequently than never. It's not really a blog in the strictest sense, I'm just using the blogging software to get a nice layout for my ramblings. My more serious ramblings, unlike the incoherent gibberish I publish here in an attempt to impress [livejournal.com profile] evildoom_bunny :-)

It's... Alive....

Last night, my Significant Other [livejournal.com profile] evildoom_bunny, she of the Nick Cave themed birthday blog entry, bought me some Chai.

Those of you who have spent more than a couple of minutes in a cafe with me will know that I'm rather fond of the ol' chai.

This was no ordinary chai. It was freshly prepared by... Shite, can't remember, some place serious about their tea. [livejournal.com profile] evildoom_bunny, help me out here, I'm having another brain fade!

Anyway, this stuff wasn't like normal tea, it was moist. I think it contained honey, and looked like... well, almost like a rather exotic potting mix. I said "Are you sure it's legal to own this?"

Haven't tried it yet, it's sitting in my freezer doing... Whatever it does. My freezer now contains three kinds of chai, three kinds of coffee and some peppermint tea leaves.

Reminds me of the time a friend of mine turned up with four kilos of red curry paste in a zip lock bag as a present for me. He worked in a laboratory testing food, the always ended up with more of it than they needed. Hence, the curry paste...

The Nature of Chai is Irepressable!

Ok, with regards to the last blog entry about Chai (as opposed to the forty other entries about it :-) the weird moist Chai was made by... Runs to fridge... Calmer Sutra Tea!

And my Chai tally is up to... 439! Zowey.

I have four computers switched on at this very moment. Fuck I'm a nerd!
