That Festival What Happened...

This is how I spent Chr*stm*s Eve. How Aussie Traditional. Although the rain falling on it wasn't quite so traditional. This was over a evildoom_bunny's place - ok, her mom's place - where I barbecued these two HUGE steaks, twelve fat sausages, eight chops and ten chicken skewers. For six adults and two kids :-)

Other things we did: Drove out to visit Warbuton where my cousin lives on Chr*stm*s Day. There was SNOW on the nearby hills. This morning I tried calling a couple of my friends in the UK - got onto one of them, but she had to go feed her baby about five minutes later. And in about ten minutes I'm hoping on a train to Geelong to visit the relos down that way...

Only two more days till K-Day!

In other news: James Brown died early on the morning of the 25th :-(

Did you get the hail? My brother in law's family got inundated with it down there - and his brothers were camping in tents in the back yard!

It hailed like nothing on earth! We got hit with it at least three times driving home. The hailstones weren't that fat, but there were shitloads of them.

The Age had a photograph of a fire truck on top of Mount Bulla(?) covered in snow!

Eh, I'm from Melbourne, one comes to expect it :-)

I've been know to wear a long black coat and sunglasses and sunscreen at the same time. I carry a cap and an umbrella just in case....
