Fuji is Baaaaaaaaaaack!
Fuji, the aforementioned wonder car, is back in business. The nice car doctors at the nice car doctor place in Clifton Hill fixed him yesterday.
Hmmmm... It's possible I'm a little overly sentimentally attached to Fuji. Not a good way to be about an aging machine, who just needed a new $650 clutch. Ah well, I like to think of him, er, it, as a kind of large metal pet. Or as my friend Andy put it "Stickers holding together a car." I've only owned two and a half cars in my life, and I've owned Fuji by far the longest. Six and a half years now. The first one, a Ford Escort panel van, I wrote off after only 18 months. The second I owned for about 12 months, a big ugly old Magna, which I lost in the "divorce" from the ex-Fiance...
The timing is Ace,
evildoom_bunny and I are off down the coast tomorrow for wedding.
Speaking of
evildoom_bunny, babe, thanks for letting me use your car! Said car needs a name - how about... Er, I'll have to work on that one.
